I'll primarily describe the qualities of a very good regular curve for Absorbance Vs. Conc (mg/L):
1. Absorbance must be 0 at 0 concentartion of analyte.
2. The Conc. of the ready solution must be so that it should cover the majority of the values because of the absorbance.
3. The curve must passes through the majority of the information points or maybe the data points must be good vicinity of this curve.
4. Standards must stand for the analytical range equally.
Further, I am going to rank the graphs by considering all of the above mentioned characterisitics.
Rank one: Curve F, as all the information points are equally distributed and also have zero intercept also. Thus, it is going to give value that is high for correlation coefficient.
Rank two: Curve C, this particular curve considers all of the above mentioned factors but as when compared to curve F, the previous information point isn't in close proximity.
Rank three: Curve A, it doesn't have all of the information points equally distributed.
Rank four: Curve D, it doesn't have all of the information points equally distributed. The way it's zero intercept that is the reason it's rank above curve B as well as E.
Rank five: Curve B, since it's much less value of intercept as when compared to Curve E.
Rank six: Curve E, it's extremely premium price of intercept, and that is not appropriate for an excellent regular curve.
