The instruction IDIV CL will divide the content of register AX with the content of register CL.
Since when -1012 is divided by 105 then the quotient will be -10 and the remainder will be 38. Now the quotient will be stored in register AL while the remainder will be in register AH.
Since the quotient is -10 in decimal which in 2's complement binary form will be 11110110 and the hexadecimal form will be F6 H.
Wheel the reminder 38 in 8-bit binary will be 00100110 which is the hexadecimal form will be 26 H.
Hence the content of the AX register will be two hexadecimal digits in the AH register followed by two hexadecimal digits of the AL register. Hence the content of the AX register in hexadecimal number will be 26F6 H.
